When the decision is made to host a party at home, a party tent should always be a priority on the list, at very least for a bad weather alternative. Party tents come in all shapes and sizes. The smallest available is a 3m x 3m white instant tent, with next size up being a 3m x 6m. These can be extended by additional 3m units, and are easy DIY marquees transportable in passenger cars.

Other popular sizes include the 6m x 6m tent. And again it can also be extended by additional 3m units (6m x 9m, 6m x 12m, …etc). The standard side height of the party tents is 2.3m, but it can be extended. The overall tent height is usually 3.2m.

No reason to worry if you plan to invite half the neighbourhood though, as you can hire tents large enough to cater for hundreds of people, even thousands! Most party tents are waterproof.  However, some party hire companies keep their stock well past the operational intended lifespan.
